Resubmitting (copying) a job

If necessary, you can resubmit, or copy, an existing job, perhaps change some of the parameter values, and then resubmit it for processing. This is a handy way to create and run a job that is similar to an exisitng one already submitted. For example, when you have a folder of imagery to orthorectify using the projection, resolution, and digital elevation model (DEM) parameters of a previous job, you can copy the job and change the name of the input folder. This saves you from having to set up all the parameters of a new job.

To resubmit an existing job

  1. On the Jobs page, find the job that you want to resubmit.

If there are many jobs currently in processing, you may need to run a search to find the one you want. For information on how to find a job, see Searching for a job.

  2. After you find the job you want, click the row in which the job you want to resubmit is located.

    The Job details page appears.

For more information on the Job details page, see Viewing job details job details.

  3. On the Job toolbar, click View Job Parameters.

The Submit new job page appears for the job type with all of the parameter values of the source job.

  4. Make changes to the parameter values, as applicable.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • To process the job using a new job ID, click Submit as New Job
    • To process the job using the ID of the source job, click Restart
Note: The Restart button is unavailable while the existing job is running.
