Using a predefined-configuration file as a template

With the JPS Administrator, you can save any job as a template. By doing so, you can set up a job you perhaps run frequently using a predefined configuration, and then, as applicable, make slight variations in the selected parameters and their values. This saves you from having to set up all of the parameters each time you want to run the job.

Some points to note about a predefined-configuration file:

• A saved predefined-configuration file is available to all users logged on to the JPS Administrator
• Overwriting the default.xml file will change the default parameter values for that job for all JPS Administrator users
