With any job, you can import a file containing the parameter values of the job. For example, suppose you have a job you run often on similar data sets, such as the Image Coregistration module job. Rather than having to specify the parameter values each time you want to run the job, you can just import the values of each parameter. When you do so, the job is updated with the values you imported, and you can then run the job.
Similarly, you can export the parameter values of a job. You must first set up the job in question with all of the parameters defined as required. You can then export the file.
You can use an exported file as a template. You can then modify the template file to suit, and then import the file with the modified parameter values in the job you want to run.
