Working with response plots

You can calculate and display co-polarization and cross-polarization response (signature) plots for a target on a fully polarimetric data set. You can use the default or customize the response-plot display.

When you define three parameters, you can rotate a response plot in the plot window about the x and z axes to view it from various angles.

Tip: You can rename the title of a response plot by, in the Target Manager window, entering the name in the Description column for the target you want to rename.
Note: On the Preferences menu, when Plot Options is Interactive, the response plot is displayed in Gnuplot, a third-party software program distributed with CATALYST Professional. Gnuplot provides you with additional control over the plot settings, such as the display of x and y values in the histogram. You will find Gnuplot in the thirdparty folder of your CATALYST Professional installation. For more information about Gnuplot (v4.4), including a PDF of the documentation you can download, go to gnuplot.info.
