Setting global preferences

On the Preferences menu of the SAR Polarimetry Target Analysis window, you can select the angular units and scaling for numerical and graphical output, and you can also select the plot-display preferences for your graphical output.

To select your preference for On the Preferences menu, do this
Angular unit Point to Angular Unit, and then click one of the following:
  • Degrees (0 - 360)
  • Degrees (-180 - 180)
  • Radians (0 - 2PI)
  • Radians (-PI - PI)
  • Both (0 - 360 and 0 - 2PI)
  • Both (-180 - 180 and -PI - PI)

The angular unit is used for the numerical and the graphical output.

Value scale Point to Value Scale, and then click one of the following:
  • Linear
  • Decibel
  • Both

The scale is used for the numerical and the graphical output.

Plot options Point to Plot Options, and then click one of the following:
  • Interactive: Open the graph in Gnuplot, in which you can manipulate the graph and how it displays. For more information about using Gnuplot, see the Gnuplot Help.
  • View-Only: Display the graph as a PNG image. To manipulate the graph, such as changing the scale, labels, or number of bins, you must replot it.
