Blending edges

At times, you may want to control the blending around the perimeter of the pixels to be pasted.

In the Set Blend Width window, you select whether to use a blend width, and then enter the width you want. A blending zone is defined to be half the specified blend width, on either side of the edge of the GeoFill polygon. New pixel values in that zone are computed by combining the original with the copied values.

Note: In areas containing bright or significantly different features, setting the blend width too high may cause "ghosting" or "doubling" of features.
