Generating the mosaic

After you complete selecting your source images, defining the output mosaic, and setting up mosaic preparation, you can preview the mosaic, or generate the mosaic.

To generate the mosaic

On the Mosaic Preparation page of the New Project Wizard window, click Generate Mosaic.
The mosaic is written to the folder and file name you specified.
Do one of the following:
- Click Finish.
  The wizard closes, and the mosaic is displayed in the view pane of the Mosaic Tool window.
- To discard the project without saving, click Cancel.
  That is, do so when you want to retain only the final mosaic you created and discard creating a project. The output mosaic is written to the folder and file name you specifed when you defined the mosaic.
