If necessary, you can cut a line into two or more separate shapes.
Note: Cutting a line may affect attributes of the shape you are editing.

To cut a line
- On the Vector Editing toolbar, click Find, and then click the line you want to cut.
- Click Split Line/Polygon, and then click where you want to cut the line.
