You can combine polygons by removing common boundaries.
Note: Connecting polygons may affect attributes of the shape you are editing.

To connect polygons
- On the Vector Editing toolbar, click Find, and then click the polygon you want.
- Click Merge Line/Polygon.
- Click the polygon with which you want to merge the first polygon.
