During quality control (QC) on the final mosaic, you may find anomalies. The anomalies can be artifacts of the DEM that may not have been readily apparent during initial review of the digital surface model (DSM), ortho images, or both.
Although it is possible to go back to the DEM, fix the problem, reprocess the ortho image, and then add the repaired image back to the mosaic, it may be quicker and easier to use the Smart GeoFill special settings in the DEM Editing window. Doing so provides you with better data to use in your repair.
