Working with basemaps

Focus allows you to work with basemap data in a number of ways. Basemaps are reference data that can help you contextualize the primary data you are working with by providing a visual backdrop. You can define what data you want to use for your basemap in the Options window. That data can be viewed in a dedicated Basemap Window or within the main Focus viewer by adding a basemap layer or creating a basemap area.
