This topic provides information on using the Help included with your software. While you may already be familiar with using this type of Windows Help, features you will use frequently are discussed herein to enhance your ability to use the Help and, therefore, get the most out of processing your imagery with PCI products.
Context-sensitive Help
While many interfaces feature a Help menu from which you can open the Help, you can also open the Help in any interface that has a Help button, as shown in Figure 1. Typically, the Help button is located in the bottom-left corner of the interface.
When you click the Help button the topic that displays is specific to the active interface. The topic may offer conceptual, reference, or procedural information, depending on the interface with which it is associated. In some instances, you may be provided with a selection of links you can click to view the specific information you want, such as a conceptual explanation or a procedure on how to enter information in the interface to complete your task.
