Adding metadata

If necessary, you can add a new blank metadata entry to a selected channel, layer, or segment.

Note: To add metadata to a PCIDSK file, it must be unlocked (writable).

To add metadata

In the File Utility window, expand the file, and then select the layer, channel, or segment to which you want to add metadata.
On the Edit menu, click Add Metadata.
A new Metadata entry appears under the selected channel.

Note: You can only add a metadata entry if one does not already exist.
Under Metadata Information, enter information in the Name and Value boxes, as necessary.
