Using the Mosaic Update Preparation module

You update your mosaic by running the Mosaic Update Preparation module.

To run the Mosaic Update Preparation module

On the JPS Administrator Navigation bar, click Create Job.
In the list of jobs, click Mosaic Update Preparation.
The Mosaic Update Preparation page appears.
Type information or select an option for each parameter, as necessary.

After you specify all of the necessary parameters, click Submit Job.

The module searches the new-scene folder for the new images to use to update the mosaic. It identifies the tiles from the existing mosaic that are affected by the new image data and computes color-balancing coefficients and cutlines for the new scenes. The module also generates cutlines for the new scenes to seamlessly fit the new data into the existing mosaic. Only a master job is created; this module is not a distributed process.
