Changing the style of all classes

You can change the style of all classes.

To change the style of all classes

  1. In the Object Analyst window, in the list under Operation, select Post-classification Editing.

    The display is refreshed to show the settings for modifying shapes and classes.

  2. Under Type, select Class edit.
  3. Under Vector Layer, click Select, and then in the Layer Selection window, do the following:
    1. In the File box, type or select the file you want.

      If the file you want does not appear in the list, click Browse, and then select the file you want.

    2. In the Select column of the table, click the vector layer you want.

      A check mark appears in the column.

    3. Click OK.
  4. In the Class field list, select the field you want.
  5. Click Edit.

    The Class Editing window appears.

  6. Expand Style for All Classes, and then do one or more of the following, as applicable:
    • To set the opacity of the fill color for all classes, beside Fill opacity, drag the slider or, in the box to the right, type or select the opacity level you want.
    • To apply a border to all classes, make sure the Show border check box is selected.

      That is, the check box is selected by default. To remove the border from all classes, clear the Show border check box.

    • To apply a border color to all classes, click the arrow beside Line color, and then select the color you want from the palette.

      If you want to assign a color other than one in the palette, click More, and then in the Color panel window, select the color you want. That is, you can select from additional colors or create a custom color.

    • To apply a border-line width to all classes, type or select the width you want in the Line width box.

The changes you made are applied to all classes.
