Adding points to an active layer

If necessary, you can add one or more points to an active layer.

To add points to an active layer

  1. On the Editing toolbar, click the arrow beside New Shapes, and then click Points.
  2. In the view pane, click where you want to add a point.
  3. Repeat step 2 for any additional points that you want to digitize.
