Using a custom file set

A custom file set is one you create from orthorectified images that overlap the area of interest (AOI). You can then use one or more of the images as a source of pixels to copy. When you select Custom File Set in the Source list of the Smart GeoFill window, the File Selector window appears, in which you can select the files you want. After you select the files, you manage them as a source file set in the Source File Set window.

To use a custom file set

  1. If you have not already done so, in the viewer draw a polygon.
  2. In the Smart GeoFill window, in the Source list, select Custom File Set.

The File Selector window appears, in which you can select the file or files you want.

Tip: You can also select a custom file set by clicking Open on the toolbar of the Smart GeoFill window (and on the toolbar of the Source File Set window).

After you select the files, the first available overlapping image is displayed inside the polygon.
