Working with map properties

You can change the Map description by typing in the Name box. When you click Apply, the text appears in the Maps tree as the Map name.

You can name Maps, Areas, and layers the same way you would rename a file in other Windows applications. Click the file name in the Maps tree and type a name for the Map or layer. You can also right-click a file name, and click Rename.
