Opening a properties dialog box from the Maps tab

On the Maps tab, you can open a properties dialog box for a map, area, or layer.

To open a properties dialog box

  1. In the control pane, on the Maps tab, select the map, area, or layer for which you want to view the properties.
  2. Do either of the following:
    • On the View menu, click Properties.
    • Right-click the map, area, or layer, and then click Properties.

    A properties dialog box appears specific to the item you selected. For example, with an RGB layer selected, the RGB Layer Properties dialog box appears.
