Using the Blend tool

The Blend tool merges two layers at a rate you specify. The transition from one view to another helps you see changes between layers.

Position
Drag the slider to step through the blend cycle. Each portion of the cycle appears as a percentage in the box to the right, based on the value entered in the Step size box.

Under Auto Mode:

Speed
To set the rate of blending of the image frames, type or select the number of frames per second you want to use in the Speed box.

Actual speed
Displays the actual frame rate of the blend when it is running.
