Opening the demo data and the SLASP algorithm

Start by opening the file irvine.pix from the folder /demo in your PCI Geomatics installation folder. After you open the file, open the SLASP algorithm.

Note: If you cannot find the folder /demo, it may be in a location other than the default; check with your system administrator, as necessary.

If you already have a digital elevation model (DEM) open in Focus, you can use it as the input for this example instead of irvine.pix.

To open the demo data and the SLASP algorithm

In Focus, on the File menu, click Open.
In the File Selector window, open the folder PCI Geomatics/CATALYST Professional/demo, select irvine.pix, and then click Open.
On the Tools menu, click Algorithm Librarian.
In the Algorithm Librarian window, click Find.
In the Find Algorithm window, in the Find what box, type SLASP.
Make sure the Match algorithm name check box is selected, and then click Find Next.
With the SLASP algorithm selected in the Algorithm Librarian window, click Open.
