The view pane is the rightmost area of the interface in which you view imagery and data selected in the control pane.
In addition to the commands available on the menu bars and toolbars, you can select the following from the shortcut menu that appears when you right-click in the view pane:
- Open a clone view
- When you have more than one map (or a clone of a map), select one to view and work on
- Zoom and pan
- Create shapes
- Cut, copy, and paste selected items, such as shapes
- Switch between viewing the Vector Editing Toolbar
- Set attributes of a style for a selected shape
