General interface

On the General interface page, you can define aspects of behavior and how items are displayed.

Reload previous project on startup

If you want to always open the last project you worked on when you start Focus, select this check box.

Show

Under Show, you can select or clear one or more check boxes according to which aspects you want to show or hide in the Focus window.

Check box	Description
Control pane	Show or hide the control pane.
Legend in Maps tab	Available when the Control pane check box is selected, show or hide the legend on the Maps tab.
Overview window	Available when the Control pane check box is selected, show or hide the Overview window. For information about setting up the Overview window, such as the type of data to display, see Overview window.
Status bar	Show or hide the Status bar.
Tool tips	Show or hide the tips on the toolbars.

Under Cursor, you can customize the shape, size, and color of the cursor.

Do one or more of the following, as applicable:

In the Shape list, select the type of cursor you want.
You can select from the following shapes:
- None
- Cross
- Empty Cross
- Target
- Bracket Target
- Dot
In the Size box, type or select a size for the cursor, in pixels.
Beside Color, click the arrow, and then select a color for the cursor or, to select from additional colors, click More.

Under Geographic Coordinate Display, in the Format list, you can select how you want to display geographic coordinates.
