In the RGB Save As window, you can save an RGB file in the Maps tree to another file format. You can save the file to the original layer or to a new layer. You can also select channels and change channel properties.
Input
The location of the layer and the data type with which you are working.
Output
Select a target file for your new RGB file, a format for the new file, and select or create a new layer in your target file.
File
Select a target file for your new RGB file or, to select a file not shown in the list, click Browse.
Format
Select an output format.
Options
Select options based on the selected format (see Selecting GDB format options).
Layer
Select up to three target layers.
Properties
Properties
View and make changes to the properties of the output layer (see About the Output Layer Properties window).
For example, when you select Visual for Scaling the pixel values of the output file will be the same as the enhanced values that are currently being displayed in the viewer. Therefore, should you open the output file in a third-party viewer, the file will displays the same, assuming that the third-party viewer does not apply its own enhancement.
