File information

When you select a PCIDSK file in the topmost pane of the File Utility window, the title of the lowermost pane is displayed as File Information. Attributes such as the file name, file type, image size, version number, file size, creation date and time, and that of the last update are displayed. Depending on the file, other attributes may also be displayed. Attribute values are noneditable. With a non-PCIDSK file, only the file name, file type, and image size are displayed.

In the topmost pane, a file typically has a Georeferencing item. When you click this item, the title of the lowermost pane changes to Georeferencing Information. If necessary, you can make changes to attributes, such as the projection system, Earth model or datum, and georeferenced bounds.

Note: To modify the georeferencing information, the file must be unlocked (writable).

To display the segments of the georeferencing information, on the View menu, click Show Geo Segments.
