You can open the File Selector window in several CATALYST Professional programs. The most typical scenarios in which you will open File Selector are as described in the following table.

| Focus | On the File menu, click Open. |
| OrthoEngine | On the File menu, click Open. |
| Modeler | On the File menu, click Open Model. |
| Chip Manager | On the File menu, click Source Image. |
| FLY! | On the File menu, click Load Vectors. |
| Mosaic Tool | On the File menu, click Open Project. |
The File Selector window also appears when performing other tasks, such as saving a file, or selecting files or layers as input or output.
