You can save a single vector layer from in-memory to a vector segment of a database file.
Under Savable Vector Layers, select the in-memory vector layer you want to save.
Under Database Vector Segments, select the vector segment of the file to which you want to save the vector data.
Under Segment Information, you can modify the segment name and description, if necessary. The number of the currently selected vector segment is shown beside the Number box.
If the file to which you are saving the vector layer is a PCIDSK file, you need not select a vector segment. If no target vector segment has been selected, or, under Segment Information, the Number box does not contain a value, a new vector segment will be created.
