You can open any Cloud Optimized GeoTIFF (COG) from an HTTP file server. You need to provide an HTTP or HTTPS address to the COG you want to open.
To open Cloud Optimized GeoTIFF
In the Connection box, select (New).
Optionally, in the Connection box, select the (New) placeholder text, and then type a name to use to identify the connection when it is saved in Connection Manager.
In the Server type box, select Cloud Optimized GeoTIFF.
In the Server box, type the HTTP address of the resource that you want to open.
