Putting a job on hold

At times you may want to pause one or more jobs perhaps to allow processing of other jobs that have higher priority. You can put a job on hold by entering a value of 0 (zero) in the Priority box. You can put a job on hold when you create it or, with an existing job, you can edit the priority to put it on hold provided processing of the job has not started.

Note: You cannot put a job on hold that is running actively.

To put a job on hold

Create the job that you want to put on hold.
If you want to put an existing job on hold, you can edit the priority provided the job is not running actively. For more information, see Editing an existing job.
Under Info, type 0 in the Priority box.
Submit the job. The job will remain on hold until you revise the value of the Priority box with a value greater than zero.
