Using the Mosaic Update Generation module

You generate an updated mosaic by running the Mosaic Update Generation module.

To run the Mosaic Update Generation module

On the JPS Administrator Navigation bar, click Create Job.
In the list of jobs, click Mosaic Update Generation.
The Mosaic Update Generation page appears.
Type information or select an option for each parameter, as necessary.

After you specify all of the necessary parameters, click Submit Job.

The module searches the folder of existing image mosaic tiles and uses the mosaic-preparation information provided by the Mosaic Update Preparation module, in combination with an existing tile-definition file, to determine which tiles in the mosaic require updating. The module then updates the appropriate tiles with the new pixels contained in the new scene.
