Digital elevation models

The use of digital elevation models (DEM) varies among the CATALYST Enterprise system modules. In most cases, the primary reason you use a DEM is for orthorectification. DEMs can be in a folder (for multiple DEMs) or as a single file.

The following is the recommended scheme for DEM storage, where Z represents a mapped drive pointing to the central repository.
