Orthorectifying images

The Orthorectification module is an essential component of CATALYST Enterprise. The module automatically corrects image scenes that contain a valid math-model segment. The math model can come from the native math-model segment (available after ingesting data with the Data Ingest module) or it can be a refined math model based on collection of ground control points (GCP) and tie points (TP). For best results, use a math model that has been refined by collecting GCPs and TPs.

The module produces orthorectified image products; the level of accuracy of these images depends on the quality of the math model of each image, and on the quality of the digital elevation model (DEM) used for orthorectification. It is a minimum requirement that you first process the imagery by using the Data Ingest and GCP Collection module.

For information on the sensors supported by the Orthorectification module, see Supported satellite sensors.
