Color Balance Orthos module

Description

The Color Balance Orthos module extracts scene IDs from an input source image file list and applies the color balancing coefficients to the each scene and generates an output image.

Parameter descriptions

Input XML File

The path and file name of the source image list XML file generated by the Mosaic Preparation module.

Output Folder

The path and name of the folder to which to write the color-balanced ortho images. Unlike the Mosaic Generation module, this module produces a separate output file for each processed ortho image.

Overwrite Results

Select this check box to overwrite the existing output files, if any exist. If this check box is left clear, and an output file exists in the relevant folder, the status of the job displays a message informing you of the existence and name of the output file. The message is also written to the event log of the job.

Before running this module, the following requirements must be met to ensure the job processes successfully and produces accurate results:

The Mosaic Preparation module must first be run to generate the source list XML file used as input for this module

Module details

The Color Balance Orthos module parses the specified input XML file and extracts scene IDs. For each scene found, the module spawns a child color-balancing job. Each child job applies the color-balancing coefficients to the scene and generates an output image.

Job results

For each input scene found, the module produces an output image after applying color balancing. The output file name is the same as the name of the original input scene.
