We're seeking a talented Data Visualization Engineer to drive successful delivery of telemetry dashboard systems. You'll act as the liaison between the raw data and the humans who need to understand it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement dashboard architecture
  • Build responsive, interactive visualizations
  • Optimize dashboard performance and data loading
  • Integrate with telemetry data sources and APIs
  • Implement security and access controls
  • Create reusable visualization components
  • Work with stakeholders to refine requirements

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of full-stack software development experience.
  • Proficiency using programming languages essential to data visualization engineers like Typescript, modern JavaScript, Python, R and SQL
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Experience building production-grade data visualization applications
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure, GCP)
  • Experience implementing REST APIs and GraphQL queries
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Advanced experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Recharts etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with OpenTelemetry or similar observability platforms
  • Background in UX/UI design. A keen understanding of design principles like color theory, typography, layout, and other design elements that can enhance the effectiveness of visualizations
  • Deep understanding of data analytics, metrics and statistical concepts like correlation, regression, and probability to represent data through visualizations accurately
  • Technical knowledge of software specifically designed for creating visualizations such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
