Generating matrix representations

After you select a target mode and a target, you can generate matrix representations.

To generate matrix representations

  1. Choose a target selection mode and a target.
  2. Click the Show (+) button to display the Numerical Output section if it is not already visible.
  3. In the Numerical Output section, click one or more of the following matrix representation check boxes:
    • Scattering matrix
      Note: To obtain a scattering matrix representation, you must choose the Pixel plus clutter estimation region target selection mode. This option is only available for single-look data.
    • Covariance matrix
    • Coherency matrix
    • Kennaugh matrix
  4. Click Compute.

    The following are examples of the information displayed in the Results window depending on the matrix representations you chose:
