Arbitrary region

You can select either a rectangular or a polygonal target that includes all pixels within the target.

To select an arbitrary-region target

In the SAR Polarimetry Target Analysis window, under TargetSelection Mode, click Arbitrary region.
On the Shape list, click Rectangle or Polygon, as applicable.
Do one of the following:
- With a rectangle, click in the Target Selection window, and then drag the cursor to the required position.
- With a polygon, click in the Target Selection window for all but the last vertex, and then double-click for the last vertex.
The selected pixels are displayed in green. The following is an example of the information displayed in the Results box under Numerical Output in the SAR Polarimetry Target Analysis window:
