Selecting how to display imagery

In the Target Selection window, you can display imagery from the data set in either of two modes: RGB or grayscale.

With RGB selected, three rasters are displayed as red, green, and blue composite-display channels. When you open a data set, the Target Selection window selects the rasters to be displayed. You can change the rasters that are displayed in each color gun. You can choose from the matrix components or from available intensity images.

When you have only one channel in your data, only the Grayscale option is available.

To select how to display imagery

  1. In the Target Selection window, do one of the following:
    • To display imagery in RGB mode, click RGB.
    • To display imagery in grayscale mode, click Grayscale.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • For RGB, select an image channel in the R, G, and B list, respectively.
