Working with vectors loaded over an image

In the General Vector Information window, you load the file and vector layer you want. You can also select a color for the layer and set the visibility.

To work with vectors loaded over an image

  1. In the General Vector Information window, click Load.

    The Database File Selection window appears.

  2. Select a file containing vectors for the area covered by the image, and then click Open.

    A new window appears, showing the available database vector segments.

  3. Select the layer you want, and then click Load or Load & Close.

    When you click Load, the window remains open. When you click Load & Close, the window closes automatically.

  4. In the General Vector Information window, do one or more of the following, as applicable:
    • To change the color of the layer, in the Color column, click the row containing the vector for which you want to change the color.

      The Change Color window appears. For information on the using the Change Color window, see Selecting a color.

    • To hide or show a vector layer, in the Show column, click the row containing the vector layer you want to hide or show.

      That is, by default, each layer is set to show, as indicated by a check mark in the Show column. To hide the layer, click to clear the check mark.
