Synchronizing images

The Synchronize Image feature refreshes the link between the images and the project as long as the paths remains the same. For example, if your images are stored on multiple CDs instead of on the disk, some of your images will appear as Offline when the corresponding CD is not available. Using Synchronize Image re-establishes the link.

To synchronize your images

Open the project you want to synchronize.
In the OrthoEngine window, on the Tools menu, click Synchronize Image.
A message appears, prompting you to confirm the action.
Click Yes to re-establish the link.

Tip: If the status of the images does not change from Offline to Online, the images may no longer be in the source location. Confirm the location of the images, and then in the Rename/Remove Images window, enter the new path to the images.
