Removing images

In the Rename/Remove Image window, you can remove one or more images from your project.

When you remove an image from your project, its ground control points, tie points, fiducial marks, and so on are also removed from the project. If two images share a common point, and one image is removed, the point is deleted from the project. If several images share a point, and one image is removed, the point remains on the other images.

To remove one or more images

  1. In the OrthoEngine window, on the Tools menu, click Rename/Remove Images.
  2. To filter the table by image type, click:
    • Uncorrected images to display raw images.
    • Ortho images to display orthorectified or geometrically corrected images.
    • Epipolar images to display epipolar pairs.
  3. Do one or more of the following, as applicable:
    • Select one or more of the images that you want to remove, and then click Remove Remove button.
