Importing an exclusion mask

You can import an existing global or local exclusion mask to include in your color-balancing operation. The imported vector must be a polygon (or a set of polygons) and must be reprojectable to the georeferencing system of the image.

To import an exclusion mask

  1. In the Mosaic Tool window, in the control pane, do one of the following:
    • To import a global mask, under Auxiliary Layers, right-click Global mask, and then click Import Global-Mask Shapes.
    • To import a local mask, under Source Images, expand the image for which you wan to import a local mask, right-click Local mask, and then click Import Local-Mask Shapes.

The Import Shapes or Bitmap window appears.

  2. Proceed to Importing shapes or a bitmap layer
Note: To retain the mask or masks you import, be sure to save the project.
