When you are finished working with a model, close it.
To close a model

Do one of the following:
- On the File menu, click Close Model.
- On the toolbar, click Close Model
.
If your model has any unsaved changes, a message appears, prompting you to choose an action.

Do one of the following:
- To save the model, click Save.
- To save the model with another file name, click Save As, and then in the Save As window, save the file with the file name you want.
Warning: If in the Save As window you click Cancel, the model is closed and any changes you have made will be lost.
- To close the model without saving, click Discard Changes.
Warning: Any changes you have made will be lost.
- To return to the model without saving your changes, click Cancel.
