Removing a class

If necessary, you can remove a class.

Note: If the class you want to remove has one or more objects assigned to it, you must first remove the object or objects before you can remove the class.

To remove a class

In the Object Analyst window, in the list under Operation, select Post-classification Editing.
The display is refreshed to show the settings for modifying shapes and classes.
Under Type, select Class edit.
Under Vector Layer, click Select, and then in the Layer Selection window, do the following:
1. In the File box, type or select the file you want.
  If the file you want does not appear in the list, click Browse, and then select the file you want.
2. In the Select column of the table, click the vector layer you want.
  A check mark appears in the column.
3. Click OK.
In the Class field list, select the field you want.
Click Edit.
The Class Editing window appears.
In the table, select the row of the class you want to remove, and then on the toolbar, click Remove.
The class is removed from the table.
