Selecting and managing images

In the Manage Images to Orthorectify window you can select raw images to associate with the digital elevation model (DEM) you are editing, add and remove images, and change the order of the images. You can also assign how to select epipolar pairs.

To add raw images to associate with the DEM, do the following:
1. Click Add.
  The File Selector window appears.
2. Open the folder containing the file or files you want, select one or more, and then click Open.
  The file or files you selected appear in the Raw images to orthorectify box. If one or more of the images you select do not have a math-model segment, a message appears, indicating which file or files does not have the segment. When you click OK, only the selected files, if any, that have a math-model segment are displayed in the Manage Images to Orthorectify window.
To remove one or more raw images, do the following:
1. In the Raw images to orthorectify box, select one or more images to remove.
  You can select a group or range of files, if necessary.
2. Click Remove.
  The files are removed from the Raw images to orthorectify box.
To reorder one or more images, do the following:
1. In the Raw images to orthorectify box, select an image to reorder.
2. Do one of the following, as applicable:
  - To move up a selected file, click Move Up.
  - To move down a selected file, click Move Up.
To assign a method for epipolar-pair selection, do the following:
1. In the Raw images to orthorectify box, select one or more images to which you want to assign a method.
  You can select a group or range of files, if necessary.
2. In the Epipolar-pair-selection method list, select the one of the following methods:
  - Pair: Automatically forms pairs according to the order of the images in the Raw files box. For example, File 1 will be the left image for pair 1, File 2 will be the right image for pair 1, File 3 will be the left image for pair 2, File 4 will be the right image for pair 2, and so on.
  - Tri: Typically for use with ADS tristereo images, this method forms forward-looking, nadir-looking, and backward-looking images. If necessary, you can also use this method with incomplete one-image or two-image strips.
