Switching between coordinate systems

The coordinate system for the Area in the Maps tree is determined by the first layer opened in the Area. When you add layers to the Maps tree, you have the choice of using the same coordinate system or a different one. If the coordinate system for the layer is different than that of the Area, you can display the coordinates of the vertices in either systems.

  1. To view the vertices using the coordinate system of the Area in the Maps tree, click Area under Coordinate System.
  2. To view the vertices using the coordinate system of the layer, click Layer under Coordinate System.
