Rotating a shape by angle

In addition to rotating a shape freehand, you can rotate a shape around the point of the start vertex more precisely by specifying an angle. The start vertex is the default anchor point; however, you can rotate the shape around another point by dragging the anchor to the point you want.

To rotate a shape by angle

  1. On the Vector Editing toolbar, click Find, and then click the shape you want to rotate.
  2. Beside Rotation Tools, click the arrow, and then click Rotate by Angle.
  3. In the Rotate by Angle window, type or select the angle by which you want to rotate the shape, and then in the list to the right, click a unit for the value you specified.
