Selecting single shapes

By using the Individual command, you can easily select single shapes.

To select a single shape

On the Editing toolbar, click the arrow beside Selection Tools, and then click Individual.
In the view pane, click the shape that you want to select.
Tip: To select additional shapes, hold down the Shift key, and then click each additional shape that you want.
