Records in the Attribute Manager contain default fields and fields that were set when the table was created. You can add new fields using the Attribute Manager.
From the Maps tree, right-click a layer and click Attribute Manager.
From the Field menu in the Attribute Manager, click Add New.
Note: You can also add new fields directly from the Table Definitions window. Use this window to modify fields as well.
