Restricting the layer so you cannot add shapes to it

  1. In the Focus window, save the layer.
  2. Click the Files tab.
  3. Right-click the layer and click Properties.
  4. In the File Properties window, click the MetaData tab.
  5. Click the Add button.
  6. In the Value column next to LAYER_TYPE, type TABLE in upper case letters.
  7. Click OK.
