Showing information about raster data

In the Information Report window, you can view information about raster data, such as entities under the cursor, selected shapes, the channels, and more.

To view information about raster data

  1. Make sure you have the raster data opened in the view pane for which you want to view information.
  2. In the Information Report window, under Report on, make sure Entities under cursor is selected.
  3. In the view pane, click a feature.

In the Information Reportwindow, the DN values for the pixel of the selected feature for the top raster layer on the Maps tab are displayed.

If you have several raster layers open on the Maps tab, in the Information Reportwindow you can scroll through the DN values for the specified pixel in each of the layers by clicking the left arrow and right arrow beside Record.

You can report on each feature, whether it is visible or invisible, by clicking a location in the view pane. You can view information for a new record in the current layer by clicking the left arrow and right arrow beside Record.
